Privacy Policy

The short versionWe collect only what we need to run this site, send the email you asked for and deliver what you buy. We never sell personal information. The kit itself collects nothing, and we never receive your staff lists, student data or simulation results.

Who we are

Faculty Firewall is operated by Jason Saltmarsh. Questions about this policy go to [email protected].

What we collect

  • When you visit. Pages viewed, browser and device type, referring site and approximate location, through Google Analytics. Our host and security provider also keep standard server and security logs, which include IP addresses.
  • When you join our email list. Your name, email address, which resource you downloaded, and whether you open or click our emails.
  • When you buy. Your name, email, billing address, organization name and order details. Payment card details are handled by Lemon Squeezy. We never see your full card number.
  • When you email us. Whatever you choose to send.

What we don’t collect

No student data. No staff lists. No simulation results. The kit runs entirely inside your district’s own systems, and nothing from those systems comes back to us.

How we use it

To deliver purchases and downloads, send emails you signed up for, answer questions, handle refunds and invoices, keep the site secure and understand which pages are useful.

We don’t sell or rent personal information, and we don’t share it for anyone else’s advertising. We may disclose information if the law requires it.

Cookies and analytics

Google Analytics uses cookies to measure site traffic. You can block cookies in your browser or use Google’s Analytics opt-out browser add-on.

Your email choices

Every marketing email includes a one-click unsubscribe link. Receipts and order messages are sent even if you unsubscribe, because they’re part of your purchase.

How long we keep it

Email list data stays until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it. Purchase records stay as long as tax and accounting rules require. Analytics data follows Google Analytics retention settings.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you. Email [email protected]. Some states give residents additional rights; we honor these requests no matter where you live.

Children

This site is for adult educators and school staff. It is not directed to children under 13, and we don’t knowingly collect their information.

Security

The site runs over HTTPS, and our accounts use two-factor authentication. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect what we hold.

Changes

If we change this policy, we’ll update the date at the top. Significant changes will be noted on this page.
